Crude Oil, HSFO and Bitumen Prices December 2022

In the first week of December, a bit of growth in crude oil could not fade the fear in the market. OPEC was firm on the production cuts for the first half of 2023. In the second week of this month, petrochemicals and fuel fell further along with oil. Crude got to its lowest price in 2022.

In the third week of December, traders have been hesitant to buy crude oil. Meanwhile, the bitumen market was alive in the Middle East. In the last week of December, the crude oil moved weakly as it was getting closer to the end of the year.

Altogether, 2022 brought crude a wide range of Volatilities from 70 to above 100.
