Crude Oil, HSFO and Bitumen Prices February 2023

In the first week of February 2023, pressure on crude knocked the price down by 7% but the bitumen market stayed positive. In the second week of February 2023, the world was confused about the economic direction and it was clearly reflected in oil and petroleum products. On February 20, oil dropped by about 4% as dollar and US inventory climbed but petroleum products did not retreat as crude. In the last week of February, another plunge of oil by reports on the rebuilding of inventories and a hectic market in the Middle East occurred.
